Workshop #1 Survey Results Are In!

The El Dorado Hills CSD hosted the first community workshop for the Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan on April 14, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Norm Rowett Pavillion. All community members were invited to attend and participate in this important planning initiative.

The workshop began with a presentation by RJM Design Group, the project consultant, who provided an overview of the Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan process, including an introduction to the demographics, existing parks, recreation facilities, and current program offerings.

During the in-person meeting, attendees completed individual surveys and then engaged in small group discussions to review and synthesize their responses. The results of these individual and group activities are included in the broader survey analysis.

The survey remained accessible online and in paper format at various recreation facilities through April 28, 2026. Outreach efforts included promotions via the website, social media channels, and distribution of flyer’s throughout the community.

A total of 131 community members completed the Workshop #1 survey, either in person or online, providing valuable input that will help guide the development of the Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan.
