A statistically-valid multimodal survey was conducted in the City of West Covina for the Parks and Recreation Master Plan between June 9 and June 16, 2025. The 400 household sample was developed from the census database and survey participants were randomly selected. The 8-minute survey was conducted with live U.S.-based interviewers by phone (38%) and online survey methods (62%). Phone participants were interviewed through landline (35%) and mobile (65%) calls. Online participants were invited by email (43%) and text message (57%) to access the survey by computer, tablet, or smart phone. Respondents in all modes chose their preferred language, English (90%) and Spanish (10%). Security measures precluded individuals from completing the survey more than once.<\/p>\n
